The God State vs. Universopolis

Universopolis

We need centers of education that incorporate universal studies, including religion and ideologies as integral elements of civilizations.

If we omit those studies, Jewish, Babylonian, Greek, Roman, Catholic, Islam and the posterior divisions amongst Christians, which go hand by hand with the incursion of Christianity into the World; we would not be teaching universal studies. The impact of Christianity in the world has left an undeniable trace of leadership in the evolution of societies.  Ideologies, the Logos, has been instrumental in the development of human families. Most certainly, if we study universal history without intentionally omitting religious studies, we can get an easy understanding of the past and the future trend of societies.

Christianity is elemental, as Judaism is. We need to teach with total freedom the teachings of Mother Church. Historical evidence suggest that omitting those studies leads us to totalitarian states in which religious and ideological freedom are banned from societies into a Relativistic Dictatorship of the thoughts of those few that wish to control the world with violence and terror. Hence, we must teach all and as in the times of Saint Augustine bring those ideological discourses into the Logos of Universal Education. We call it Universopolis.

A university with voluntarily excludes history of religions from its curriculums, disallowing experts from those subjects from all spectrums, is not properly speaking a cathedral of universal studies, but an entity manipulated by the greedy and ambitious desires of a few who pretend to rule human thought and ideologies.

Universal Studies must be universal. Religion and ideologies belong in Universities under the curriculum of evolution of societies and cultures. Those that oppose the teaching of the Logos effectively oppose education.

We cannot forbid the right of individuals and organizations to teach its social doctrines which emanate from Christianity, so we are able to contrast them with those believes that do not have God, but instead other temporal motivators as the driving force of their social echelon. We need universities were we can freely discus, ask questions, and contrast all points of view in a table where each and every one has a right to expose its views, and rationalize where the Logos leads to reason.

The use of reason should be encouraged in order to promote critical thinking and analysis of the complex world we live on. Economic studies based solely on one economic theory, such as Anglo-Saxon monetarism have proven to be a deadly recipe. We need to be willing to learn how other economic agents and ideologies strive to provide a profitable economic system which is far removed from the erroneous concept of the single objective of wealth accumulation.

Savage Capitalism is one economic model, not the only economic model. Monetary profit is one doctrine and ideology. However, there are other economic models which place the human person and its development, as the goal to reach a balanced evolution of the human family.

Humans and family are the pivotal centers of society, not only money. We cannot run world economics as a mere game of monopoly, which inevitably bring to a halt economic cycles. We cannot build over a flawed system by patching it with subterfuges. We need to rethink Savage Capitalism and trow it out if it does not fulfill its role: the well being of the human family.

How are we to do this?

Universal Education as it has not been seen in so many countries of the world who are blinded to the whole spectrum of Universal Studies, Universopolis.

Freedom of Speech, freedom of religions, freedom in Education, freedom of ideologies allowing all to contrast the different points of view. We cannot burn, or forbid books. Let each teaching prove its ability to stand before Logos and prove its cohesiveness. Let's talk in the table of dialogue, which are supposed to be what universities really should be doing.

We need those centers of education  free for all with contributions of all economic agents of society. Universal Education is the number one goal to archive societies that evolve into peaceful polis of individuals.

Example.

For instance, there is a fundamental difference in between monotheistic messianic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Protestantism (born after Islam).

Catholics believe the Millennial Kingdom of God and His Only Son, the Messiah, was founded 2014 years ago in the Only Church of Christ. On the contrary, and speaking of eschatology, we can say without fear of equivocation that Jews, Muslims, and Protestants are still awaiting the coming of the Establishment of their "messianic" kingdom. In other words, they are awaiting for the day of retribution which they visualize as the establishment worldwide of their belief system. Jews contempt with Israel. Islam and Protestants want to rule the whole world. Catholics, on the other hand, are already ruling preaching his death, resurrection and final coming in Glory. We Catholics refer to it as the Final Day of Judgement of the living and the death. It is unequivocally speaking the End of this Earth and Universe, the new beginning, a new Universe and a new Earth in which we descend from Heaven: the New Jerusalem.

In other words, we are the Kingdom, the Church of Christ established 2014 years ago. We will be here until that glorious day. We are Eternal, today!

The contra position of both ideologies has inspired persecutions and wars, as foretold by Christ. We die, we are persecuted, indeed. We resurrect and continue to rule as kings and priests from heaven. All of it is happening as we speak.

Conclusion:

The State should not interfere, or forbid Catholics from expressing its universal education and views. If it does, the state becomes god; and we all know what happens when a State becomes God thanks to history.
